Preliminary Supplier Assessment (PSA) is a preliminary commercial assessment for buyers evaluating a supplier in China before placing an order, signing a contract or making a payment.
PSA combines official and public-record research with supplier information and supporting documents. It assesses manufacturing claims, the supplier’s documented connection to its claimed factory location, and the consistency of relevant business and transaction information. A Live Video Factory Walkthrough adds observations of the facilities and activities shown.
Findings are presented in a structured English report with a one-page Quick Review, supporting evidence, matters requiring attention and recommended next steps.

The Experience Behind SLORRIE
about the founder
Founded by Viktor Chen
SLORRIE began in 2016 as a small cross-border retail business sourcing products from China for customers in the Philippines. Viktor personally handled supplier communication, purchasing, order coordination and customer enquiries.
He later worked for a Spanish logistics company in China, coordinating third-party quality inspections for clients mainly in Europe, the United States and Latin America.
These experiences shaped SLORRIE’s current focus on supplier assessment and China-side coordination, bringing together an understanding of overseas buyers’ needs and experience communicating with suppliers and service providers in China.
